I seem to be in a chicken rut. All Chad ever wants to eat are Healthy Chicken Nuggets which I’m pretty over! Yesterday I gave in and made them with the oven roasted potato recipe I found here. The recipe was easy to make. However, if you plan to make these potatoes at any point a few things to consider.
1. Do not make these potatoes with the Healthy Chicken Nuggets. In fact if Italian breadcrumbs are involved in the main course I’d stay away from this recipe. It ended up being a crummy (Get it? ha ha) meal. It really was way too much breadcrumbs for one meal.
2. Hopefully you read directions better than me because I decided to cut the recipe in half but forgot to apply this to the breadcrumbs so it was breadcrumb overload on these potatoes. I never said or claimed to be a good cook hence why my blog is called attempting to cook because I’m notorious for screwing recipes up.
3. These potatoes can be amazing if you either follow the recipe properly or if you do decide to cut the recipe in half like I did you actually cut the breadcrumb requirement in half too. Also try pairing them with another meal that doesn’t include breadcrumbs. None the less Chad still enjoyed the potatoes so I guess that makes it worth it.
So hopefully if you follow these tips you will end up with amazing oven roasted potatoes!
